About Our School
St. James School is a Preschool through Eighth Grade elementary school situated on the border of Erie and Wesleyville. Our campus includes St. James Daycare, St. James Place, St. James School and Athletic Field, as well as the Church. We offer a “traditional” faith-based education with an engaging and challenging curriculum that is aligned to state and national standards. We are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
St. James lays the groundwork for your child’s faith-based education beginning with our Daycare Facility, accepting families with children from 6 weeks to 6 years. Students enrolled at the Daycare are afforded the opportunity to attend our 3-year-old or 4-year-old Preschool program at a minimal cost. Our Kindergarten experience features both a full-day and half-day program to accommodate working families while preparing them for a smooth transition to First grade. Our elementary school, Grades 1 – 8, not only utilizes the Diocesan curriculum, we also pride ourselves in tradition, the teaching of values, and the formation of the “whole” student.
At St. James, our motto is “We Care”. We care that our students grow spiritually, physically, and intellectually.
