Programs: Our preschool program includes a formal religion program, letter recognition, math skills, writing skills and computer skills.

Half-day and whole-day classes are available.

Curriculum: Religion, reading and mathematics readiness, science-based activities, social studies, exciting monthly themes, physical education, fun art activities, music, and the Alpha Time Letter People!

School uniforms are worn beginning in the First Grade and can be purchased at the Red Door.

Gym uniforms are worn beginning in the Fifth Grade.

Preschool and Kindergarten children are to wear clean play clothes.

Saint James takes pride in its Hot Lunch program. It is available each day beginning at 11:10 AM and continues until 12:30 PM

We try to send all school communications, children's papers, and other information home every Thursday. This allows us to stay in contact with the parents and inform them of school happenings & events and their child's academic progress.

Transportation is available through your local school district. For specific bus information, please check your local school district office.

An after school program, staffed by St. James faculty, is offered at the school on days when school is in session.

It runs from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and may be used on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Saint James has a state licensed Day Care Center available for its parishioners. The center offers full-time care for children from age 6 weeks to kindergarten. The center operates on a 12-month schedule from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Before school care is available at the center for Saint James School students.
